"The people we dealt with were wonderful and helped my father die at home which was our family's wish for him."
Volunteer Support Services The men, women and young adults who volunteer their time and energy for Hospice are truly unique individuals. Many choose to work with our families because of their own experience with losing a loved one. Others have not yet experienced such a personal loss, but truly want to help those families who are facing the day to day emotional and physical struggle of caring for their loved ones.
Physical Care Volunteers provide patient and family support through companionship, hands-on care, or transportation and delivery of medication and equipment.
Emotional Care Friendly visits to homes and health care facilities for patients and families are provided by volunteers.
Bereavement Care Trained volunteers also provide grief counseling by phone or in person to surviving family members.
Emergency Response System
